Welcome to VLearn!
VLearn is an online self-learning platform on vocabulary. It seeks to train students to develop a comprehensive range of vocabulary learning strategies for learning new words and more words on their own. VLearn includes description of what constitutes a word, how English words are formed, and how words are related. The different topics are accompanied by examples, exercises and quizzes.
The VLearn Team comprises teachers from Faculty of Education and English Language Teaching Unit at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. We hope that students can eventually expand their vocabulary size by making use of the knowledge and the vocabulary learning strategies introduced in VLearn in their daily encounters with unknown English words.
